This is my brother, Kent. He is a Creative Director and an active volunteer living in Shanghai for more than 10 years. Every year during Chinese New Year he would come home briefly for 2 weeks or so to be with mum and us and also some catching up with his good old friends. He often plans his schedule all packed so that no time is wasted during his short stay. This year is quite different. China went into lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic and his flight back to Shanghai got cancelled. From 2 weeks it became a 5-week stay! Due to the extended stay, he had more, much more time to explore Singapore (this was before Singapore implemented the Circuit Breaker). He would organise trail walking with friends who returned from China, and would walk anywhere from town or Bedok to home, clocking an average of 10km every other day.
For a long time we have been wanting to do a simple family shoot with mum but never had the chance (or felt committed enough) to do. So I grabbed this perfect opportunity, booked a studio with JustRentLah and did a 2-hour session with my family. I also have a sister whose name is Anna. She is a veteran private nurse living in Melbourne. She hasn't been back for many years. I wish one day we will be able to do a family photo again with all of us including Anna.
